Unbelievable Paisley Makeover: From Rubbish-Filled Homes to Desirable Dwellings
A remarkable transformation has taken place in Paisley, thanks to the efforts of a dedicated team led by Adam Williams, a former Army veteran with a passion for property. Williams, along with his partner David Smart, has breathed new life into two uninhabitable homes, turning them into sleek, modern, and highly desirable properties. The before and after photos are truly jaw-dropping, showcasing the incredible potential of these once-neglected homes.
Williams, who is the Head of Sales at Smart Sales & Investments, shared his journey from his tours in Afghanistan and Iraq to his current pursuit of property renovation. He and Smart took on the challenge of renovating two properties on Harelaw Crescent and Bargarron Drive, both of which had been vacant for years and were in dire need of a complete overhaul. The before pictures reveal a dire situation, with both homes overflowing with rubbish and in a state of filth, requiring an extensive renovation.
With the support of the Scottish Empty Homes Partnership, Williams and Smart were able to see the bigger picture and make a positive impact on the community. They began by stripping the homes back to their brick foundations, removing the excess waste, and creating a much-needed clear space. This process allowed them to envision the potential of these properties and the positive changes they could bring to the area.
In just six months, the team's efforts paid off. Both homes were transformed into modern, desirable dwellings, ready to be put back on the market. Williams expressed his satisfaction with the project, stating, 'I'll see a property like that and always think of what it can be after all this work. It's such a rewarding job, tough but with so much positivity that comes from it.'
The team's success in Paisley has sparked interest in their next project. Williams is now on the lookout for his next renovation opportunity.
